Hi, I’m Lisa. I’m a qualified NCPS registered counsellor and psychotherapist based in Bristol.
I hold a degree in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy from Bath Spa University, with a strong person-centred foundation. This means that while each session is guided by your individual needs and goals, creating a space that is unique to you, I can also draw on a range of therapeutic approaches, including creative techniques, CBT, Gestalt, and psychodynamic methods to offer new ways of helping.
I have extensive experience working with teens and young adults, as well as supporting both carers and patients through my work with the Alzheimer’s Society. My flexible, client-led approach has been particularly valuable in working with LGBTQ and neurodiverse clients.
Therapy isn’t just for people in crisis, it’s a space for anyone who wants to understand themselves better, improve their wellbeing, or make positive changes in their life. Talking to a therapist gives you time that’s fully focused on you, where you can explore your thoughts and feelings without judgment.
It can help you gain clarity, develop healthier coping skills, strengthen relationships, and build resilience for life’s challenges.
Even if nothing feels ‘wrong,’ therapy can support personal growth, self-awareness, and a deeper sense of balance.
In short, therapy offers a safe and supportive space to reflect, grow, and feel more connected to yourself and the life you want to lead.
Sessions are 50 minutes and can be either face to face, or online. Sessions cost £55 individually or £50 per session if booked in a block booking of 10 sessions. Discounts available for students or low income households.
